Marie-Antoinette NOMIKOS est membre de l’Académie Internationale « Greci-Marino ». Passionnée par la Renaissance Italienne, elle a consacré le travail de ces dernières années à un « Hommage aux Maîtres Italiens » qui a donné lieu à de nombreuses expositions personnelles, accueillies entre autre, dans les plus prestigieuses villes d’art d’Italie: Venise, Bologne, Florence et Rome.
Natures-mortes somptueuses, énigmatiques portraits du passé, paysages vibrants de lumière, cette artiste raffinée,au talent de coloriste exceptionnel, imprègne toutes ses œuvres de sa sensibilité, offrant au spectateur un monde intérieur empreint d’humanité et d’une beauté sereine et vraie.
Marie-Antoinette NOMIKOS lives and works in the South-west of France, where she used to study psychology and music. Extremely keen on Italian Renaissance, she has devoded her work over the last few years to « Tribute to Italian Masters ». This has led to numerous personal exibitions welcomed among others in the most prestigious city of Art: Venice, Florence and Rome.
In wonderful still lives, enigmatic portraits of the past, luminous landscapes, this refined artist with execeptional coulour talents , impregnates all her work with her sensitivity, offering to the spectator an internal world full of humanity and of a true an d clear beauty.
For many years now, she is know to be one of the finest painters in the field of comtemporary figurative painting, all of this due to her ow perfectioned and very personal style and her masterly use of pastels.
La ‘sontuosità’ dei suoi vividi personaggi ritrae con efficacia un passato storico di cui sembra sottolineare ‘sublimi’ concezioni ideali, mentre la generosa policromia dei soggetti floreali e delle nature morte testimonia pienamente l’ eccezionale talento applicativo di una recuperata tecnica del pastello con qualcosa di ‘magico’ nelle sfumature, che pare concedere spazio all’ attento osservatore per ulteriori interpretazioni. Il dinamismo morbido delle tinte, il languore ‘mai definito’ degli sguardi, rivela il sogno e la promessa di una realtà serena, armoniosa e pacificata.
